NurseRegistry Collaborates with Arbor Day Foundation
NurseRegistry works exclusively with Arbor Day Foundation, which plants trees in honor of clients who have passed away. Since the beginning of our partnership, Arbor Day Foundation has planted almost 200 trees on our behalf, supporting wildlife and various ecosystems.
At NurseRegistry, we are dedicated to providing exceptional nursing care and support. Occasionally, that entails making the best of an otherwise grim situation. That same level of care has transcended to our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
Because we use Arbor Day exclusively when a client passes, NurseRegistry has planted almost 200 trees! These trees assist by providing critical habitats for endangered wildlife, healthier watersheds, cleaner waterways, and help establish more sustainable ecosystems.
We are honored to be recognized and appreciated by Arbor Day Foundation and look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come. Recognized by Arbor Day Foundation and presented this certificate.
About Arbor Day Foundation
The Arbor Day Foundation, founded in 1972, is the world’s leading nonprofit focused on planting trees. However, their mission goes beyond just planting – they inspire communities to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees.
For over 50 years now, they’ve planted over 500 million trees across neighborhoods and forests in more than 50 countries – which we at NurseRegistry certainly find as a massive milestone.
As of 2024, the Arbor Day Foundation has an ambitious goal: planting another 500 million trees by 2027. This initiative targets critical areas like increasing forest cover and urban green spaces. It’ll contribute to a healthier climate, stronger communities, and greater biodiversity globally.
NurseRegistry is incredibly proud to partner and collaborate with Arbor Day Foundation.
About Arbor Day
- Arbor Day is a holiday celebrating and honoring trees, often called the “tree planter’s holiday.”
- On Arbor Day, communities, schools, businesses, and individuals come together to plant trees, hand out free trees, provide education on tree planting and care, and recognize the many benefits trees provide.
- The National Arbor Day in the United States is observed on the last Friday in April every year.
- However, many individual U.S. states celebrate Arbor Day on different dates throughout the year based on the optimal tree planting times in their region.
- The tradition of an Arbor Day celebration dedicated to trees is not limited to the U.S. – countries around the world hold similar tree-planting holidays and events.
